Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Head of Digital Services to oversee the day-to-day operation of our Digital team, spanning Measurement & Data, Paid Digital, and SEO. You’ll lead a predominantly remote team, creating alignment, accountability, and a high-performance culture while ensuring our services remain innovative, scalable, and commercially impactful. Travel to Barnstaple in North Devon for meetings, regular anchor days and quarterly workshops is required. This role is ideal for a strategic digital leader who combines operational rigour with a passion for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You’ll be responsible for: • Leading, motivating, and developing a remote-first digital team, fostering strong collaboration and shared accountability. • Creating efficient ways of working and delivery standards to ensure we achieve measurable outcomes for clients and sustainable commercial growth for the agency. • Maintaining strong visibility with teams through structured check-ins, performance reviews, and proactive support. • Building a culture of trust, autonomy, experimentation, and high performance. • Implementing and refining processes, performance frameworks, and best-practice standards. • Staying at the forefront of digital trends, platforms, and tools - including AI and generative technologies - to improve productivity and unlock new opportunities. About you: We’re looking for someone who brings both strategic leadership and hands-on digital delivery experience, including: • Proven experience managing remote or hybrid teams within a digital agency or performance marketing environment. • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to provide clarity, direction, and feedback - ensuring the team stays aligned, informed, and connected without being overloaded. • Strong organisational and operational discipline, ensuring work is planned, tracked and delivered efficiently without the benefit of constant in-person oversight. • Commercial awareness and experience in driving profitability and service growth. • A proactive, outcomes-driven approach, focusing on performance and growth while addressing issues early and decisively. • Genuine interest in, and enthusiasm for, new and emerging technology and its potential applications within the agency. • Solid understanding of key digital platforms, tech and tools such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush.

Financial Controller (Finance Director designate)

Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially astute Financial Controller to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of growth for our agency. This is not a back-office finance role. It’s a strategic, hands-on position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants a genuine seat at the table. You will take ownership of the company’s financial health, drive margin improvement, enhance commercial discipline, and provide the insight that underpins confident decision making at Board level. A success in this position will lead to a board appointment.

You’ll be responsible for: Strategic financial leadership • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to shape and execute financial strategy. • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes. • Provide clear KPI analysis, including staff cost ratios, recoverability, utilisation and overhead performance. • Improve profitability across a multi-entity agency structure. • Strengthen financial processes in a growing business. • Provide forward-looking insight to support investment decisions and growth planning. 2. Commercial & client performance • Support senior stakeholders in fee negotiations and contract structuring to ensure commercial viability. • Drive client profitability analysis, identifying over-servicing and margin leakage. • Embed financial disciplines and accountability across senior stakeholders. 3. Operational excellence • Lead, mentor and develop a small finance team. • Monitor and improve working capital performance. • Enhance systems, reporting efficiency and financial controls. • Drive process improvements that enable scalable growth. 4. Compliance & governance • Prepare monthly management accounts with clear, actionable Board commentary. • Manage year-end audit processes and statutory reporting. • Oversee VAT and Corporation Tax • Manage payroll, PAYE and associated compliance requirements.

About you: You’re a qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within a media, marketing or digital agency environment. You combine technical excellence with commercial instinct. You will bring: • A proven ability to influence and challenge non-financial stakeholders. • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills. • Deep understanding of revenue recognition in project-based environments. • Experience with automated reporting tools and BI dashboards. • A pragmatic, hands-on approach suited to an entrepreneurial business. • Commercially confident, analytically rigorous and comfortable operating at senior and Board level. • Able to build strong relationships and confidence with clients, suppliers, external stakeholders and advisors.
