The Internet Digest was created in April 2003, to help small business owners and Internet marketing enthusiasts make sense of the vast amount of internet marketing information available on the web, by offering them simple and focused do-it-yourself tips that they can immediately apply at little or no cost.

Instead of filling-up this site with hundreds of recycled articles you can find anywhere else, we chose instead to grow this site the old fashioned way: one good article at a timeWe write our own articles and read every guest article before it is approved for publication.  Only the articles we consider to the best and most relevant to small business owners will make it to the Digest's pages.

Also, you will not find thousands of off-topic and obnoxious banners and affiliate links on this site.   I normally  recommend very few products, and when I do you can rest assured that I am both impressed and satisfied with them.

When you subscribe to our mailing list, you will receive a short email with a summary of the latest article added to the Digest, and a link to the URL where the full article resides.  Every new article is immediately stored in our Free Content Archive, so that you can access all of them at any time.

It our intention to do as we preach, so we are building this site around the tips and suggestions offered in our articles, to turn it into a best practices showcase where you can see our recommendations at work before you implement them on your site.

We adhere to a web design philosophy that favors simplicity and puts the user first.   We also believe that the Internet is one of the greatest marketing tools of our time and that, as such, it must be used properly and respecting the boundaries of privacy.

We hope that you enjoy our site and find it useful, and welcome your comments and suggestions
