Ambassador Cruise Line provides premium-value cruises with the warmest of welcomes, fantastic food and entertainment that gets rave reviews. With the potential of TV front of mind, we considered ways to be distinctive in the market whilst remaining authentic and drawing on their strengths.

Amazing shows to see

We proposed a unique new concept for the brand’s first TVC - a continuous performance, evoking the classic musical cinema of the 1950s, sung and performed by Ambassador’s very own entertainment team.

Authenticity


The film featured not only the entertainers but also the crew and guests. This approach required careful planning, preparation and rehearsal. Throughout the shoot, the passengers were integral to the process, asking questions, getting involved and keen to feature in the final ad.

 

Behind the scenes


Working with a trusted production partner, we shot the commercial during a cruise to Cape Verde, with our fingers firmly crossed re the weather. As well as the TV ad, we maximised the opportunity by creating a range of images and video.
